Jim approached me with a logo and website that were literally from the turn of the century. Though his established business was growing, their visual brand had become outdated and needed a complete refresh to reflect their passion for the business. The old site wasn't responsive or mobile-friendly, and it lacked any search engine optimisation.

The logo concept is based on Victorian tree woodcuts that, when combined with a clean typeface, create a modern feel. The website follows this aesthetic with woodcuts for different sections and a gentle colour palette. It's fully responsive, accessible, search-optimised, and mobile-friendly, giving Woodsman a strong online platform.

The upper half promotes their services to planners, architects, and developers highlighting the integration of tree management in planning stages. The lower half targets landowners and estate managers, focusing on the management of large tree populations. Both sections feature headings, descriptive text, and thematic white line illustrations of trees on a teal background.

”I'm not someone who loves change—especially when it comes to technology—so revamping my logo and website was a big step. But I needn't have worried. Jerome communicated the vision throughout the project, and I couldn't be happier with the end result. He even helped with setting up my emails properly, which for years had been the bane of my life!“
